Tricky kitty

Well, the tire is toast - I'm not sure what made it go flat in the first place, but driving on it flat did it in. And the dealer didn't have any in stock, so I wound up driving on the spare for all of yesterday until they could get a new tire in today (fortunately, the spare is full-sized, so it's fine to drive on). So we are somewhat poorer, but once again have four intact tires.

Other than the car excitement, life has been fairly blah lately. Nothing terribly exciting to report. I did have an Acen dream this week which mostly consisted of going up and down the wrong elevators, but did give me a perfect line for our sketch next year (it's going to be a truly demented concept, but I shouldn't talk about it in a public post).

Sonya just came racing through here with a catnip mouse. I bought them for her this week in an effort to get her to exercise more, and so far they're a big hit. She's being awfully cute, and at the moment, she's acting so innocent that you'd never know she was an inadvertant practical joker.
