I'm in a similar quandry with toy weapon issues. My instinct is to say we won't have toy weapons in the house, and we've made it known amongst the family that they aren't welcome as gifts, but then I start to waffle. I mean, am I going to include squirt guns/super soakers and paint ball and laser tag in this prohibition? And whether or not I do, is this really an effective way to offset our cultural glorification of violence?

Ugh.
