I literally never thought I'd live to see the day, after years of saying, "Just wait until next year." The last time they won the World Series, my grandfather was _12_. I'm really sorry that he isn't alive to see this.
However, I'm happy to report that I was able to bring myself to watch the final play that won the game. It would have been a shame to miss.
