I got my paycheck today!
For the work I did in January, mind you. But better late than never, I suppose. And the next paycheck should be more on time because the board treasurer will presumably know how to figure out tax withholding now. Now if she would only give us our timecards back so we can stop writing our hours down on post-it notes...
We just finished clearing 90% of our bedroom so we can paint it tomorrow. The walls are now approximately 50% spackle, due to the fact that whoever built the addition on this house used the world's cheapest wallboard. We've uncovered truly scary amounts of dust, as well as roughly 32,187 cat toys. The cats are currently in the process of having multiple aneurysms due to the excitement of it all.
I'm hoping we can get away with one can of paint, but I'm not too sure. The #$%^@$ cathedral ceilings will make life difficult in that regard. I suspect tomorrow will start out with me painting the walls and

One saving grace that I can think of is that the room itself is actually quite small - it's just the high ceilings that make it seem bigger than it is.
