Today has been a low-energy day. I suspect it was all absorbed by Friedewide, who, after a long refresing nap in the afternoon, has been on marathon kicking sessions all evening. Thump, thump, thump, full of youthful energy. Fortunately, it's still mild enough to be cute. I suspect I won't be so blase when it's grown high enough in my abdomen to start kicking my solar plexus.
I had big ambitions of cleaning most of the house today, mostly inspired by the thought of
longstrider's parents visiting this weekend, but I only accomplished some dusting, book shelving and mopping the kitchen floor, which was getting to the point of starting to talk to us. And then I collapsed and only did productive things I could do sitting down, like knitting and sewing more Naruto gloves.
I don't want to go to work tomorrow. There are stupid people there. People who, for instance, can't tell the difference between "YA" and "J Fic" on a book label when it comes to shelving, or perhaps don't understand why they can't just put the book where they feel like with no regard to what the call number says. I just don't have the energy to deal with the free-love approach to shelving right now.
