Almost certainly overshare

When I was getting dressed this morning, K pointed to my nipples, which as is very common in pregnancy have darkened considerably, and told me they were poopy. Ah, the sophisticated humor of the preschooler.

Of all of the myriad indignities of pregnancy, I have to admit that this is one I've never read in any of the books and websites.

I'm still trying to decide if this is better or worse than last year when she would poke a finger into my nipple and say "Beep!"

I'd never really used the word "boobie" with Tristan until the last time he had a cold, at which point he decided he would attempt to blow his nose on my breast, and I told him "no, don't blow your nose on momma's boobie!" Afterward, of course, he derived great amusement from my reaction whenever he tried to blow his nose on me.

Now, whenever his nose is stuffy or runny and I ask him if he wants a tissue, he'll respond with "Boobie!" and lunge for my chest.
